John P. Volpe

John P. Volpe, Esq. joined Schwartz & Greenwood, P.C. in October 2012. John graduated Magna Cum Laude from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in May of 2012, ranking in the top 6% of the class. At Commencement Exercises, John was presented with the Dean Emeritus Howard Glickstein Award for Outstanding Leadership and Overall Academic Excellence and an Award for Exceptional Service to the Public and the Community. While in Law School, John served as Business Editor of the Touro Law Review, as a Teacher’s Assistant for the Academic Development Program, and was a recipient of the David Berg Public Interest Law Fellowship. Additionally, John received Awards for Academic Excellence in Criminal Law, Torts, Business Organizations, and Federal Judicial Clerkship Externship. 

During his law school career, John interned for the Honorable Leonard Wexler of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York, the Legal Aid Society of Nassau County, and the Federal Defenders of New York. Prior to entering Law School, John worked as a Personal Banker and Branch Supervisor for New York Community Bank. John is a 2005 graduate of Adelphi University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance. 

John is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association: Elder Law, Trusts and Estates Section, the Queens County Bar Association, and New York State Bar Association. He is admitted to practice law in the State of New York.
